Requirements

This program is open to active individual members of WEAT and legal dependents of members who have been members for at least 1 year.

Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll at a college or university in any state.

In the selection process, points are awarded on the basis of length of WEAT membership (up to 20 points), major in engineering or physical sciences (up to 20 points), major in public administration, environmental law, or related field (up to 10 points), major in other fields (up to 9 points), plans for a utility career (up to 20 points), academic record (up to 10 points), financial need (up to 10 points), extracurricular activities and community involvement (up to 10 points), and special accomplishments (up to 10 points).
