West Virginia Garden Club Life Membership Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of West Virginia working on an undergraduate or graduate degree in a field related to gardening at a college in any state.

Requirements

GPA 3.25 or higher.

This program is open to residents of West Virginia enrolled fulltime as college juniors, seniors, or graduate students at colleges and universities in any state.

Applicants must be working on a degree in agriculture education, agronomy, biology, botany, city planning, conservation, environmental concerns, floriculture, forestry, habitat or forest systems ecology, horticulture, land management, landscape design, plant pathology, or a related field.

Selection is based on that letter (25%), academic record (40%), a list of honors, extracurricular activities, work experience (13%), financial need (15%), recommendations (5%), and conformance with instructions (2%).
