Western Plastics Pioneers Scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduate student members of the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) from any state who are attending college in designated western states and have a career interest in the plastics industry.

Requirements
  • This program is open to full-time undergraduate students from any state who are enrolled at 4-year colleges or in 2-year technical programs in Arizona, California, Oregon, or Washington.
  • Applicants must be majoring in or taking courses that would be beneficial to a career in the plastics or polymer industry (e.g., plastics engineering, polymer sciences, chemistry, physics, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering).
  • Membership in the SPE is free but is required to apply.
