Wilburn Clary Medal Scholarship provides financial assistance to seniors (females and males considered separately) at high schools in North Carolina who have participated in at least 2 varsity sports and plan to attend college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools that are members of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) and planning to attend college in any state.

Applicants must have participated in at least 2 varsity sports; have a GPA of 3.2 or higher; demonstrate athletic excellence through awards, honors, and special recognitions; demonstrate success in other, nonsport, extracurricular activities; demonstrate active involvement within their community through volunteer service programs, scouts, or other similar activities; and have clear disciplinary records.

Females and males are considered separately.
