Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Virginia who have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and are planning a career in a field of aviation not related to engineering (e.g., pilot, aviation maintenance technician, aviation manager).

Applicants must have been accepted to an aviationrelated program at an accredited college.

They must submit an essay of 350 to 500 words on why they wish to prepare for a career in aviation.

Financial need is also considered in the selection process.
