William J. Adams, Jr. and Marijane E. Adams Scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduate student members of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) who are interested in agricultural machinery product design and development.

Requirements
  • This program is open to undergraduate ASABE members who are working on an undergraduate degree in biological or agricultural engineering in a program accredited by ABET or CEAB, are in at least the second year of college, have at least 1 year of undergraduate study remaining, have a GPA of 2.5 or higher, can demonstrate financial need, and have a special interest in agricultural machinery product design and development.
  • Applicants must submit a 750word personal statement on 1) why they have selected the design and development of new agricultural machinery as the area of focus for their degree; and 2) their personal strengths and how those will enable them to excel in the design and development of new agricultural machinery products.
