Requirements

This program is open to full-time students who have completed at least 1 year of a degree program in medicine at a school in Wisconsin.

Applicants must submit a personal statement of 1 to 2 pages on their family background, achievements, current higher educational status, career goals, and financial need.

Preference is given to residents of Wisconsin, those close to completing their degree, and those who demonstrate ties to their community and a desire to practice in Wisconsin.

U.S. citizenship is required.

Selection is based on financial need, academic achievement, personal qualities and strengths, and letters of recommendation.
