The Wisconsin Minority Undergraduate Retention Scholarship provides financial assistance to minorities in Wisconsin who are currently enrolled at a college in the state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of Wisconsin who are African Americans, Hispanic Americans, American Indians, or southeast Asians (students who were admitted to the United States after December 31, 1975, and who are former citizens of Laos, Vietnam, or Cambodia or whose ancestor was a citizen of 1 of those countries).
  • The Applicant shall be a resident of the United States, either a citizen or lawfully admitted for permanent residence by the federal immigration and naturalization service.
  • Applicants must be enrolled at least halftime as sophomores, juniors, seniors, or fifth-year undergraduates at a Wisconsin technical college, tribal college, non-profit, or independent college or university in the state.
  • They must be nominated by their institution and be able to demonstrate financial need.
  • Eligible students should apply through their school's financial aid office.
