This program is open to female college students working on a degree in instrumental music and preparing to be a band director.

Selection is based on 2 letters of recommendation, a current transcript, an essay on their basic philosophy of why they wish to become a band director, an essay on why the applicant feels she should be selected to receive a scholarship, and a financial statement.
