Wright-Patterson Officers' Spouses' Club Military Dependent Spouses Scholarship provides financial assistance to spouses of military personnel at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio and surrounding areas who plan to attend college or vocational school in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of the Wright-Patterson area of Ohio who are the spouses of 1) active or retired U.S. armed forces or Reserve component members who are affiliated with or reside within 100 miles of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base; or 2) deceased, POW, or MIA U.S. armed forces or Reserve component members and the spouse lives within 100 miles of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

Applicants must be planning to attend a school in any state to work on an undergraduate or graduate degree or vocational certificate.

Selection is based on the essay, academic achievement, work experience, community and volunteer activities, personal goals, special interests and hobbies, and letters of recommendation.

Members of the WrightPatterson Officers' Spouses' Club are eligible, but members of the scholarship committee are not.
