The Yoshi and Millie Scholarship program supports academically proficient students who currently reside in Hawaii. Students seeking a bachelor's degree are eligible to apply. Preference may be given to applicants studying for a degree in a STEM-related field. In 2014, the grandchildren of Yoshi and Millie Ushijima established the Yoshi and Millie Scholarship in memory of their grandparents.

Demonstrate financial need Preference may be given to undergraduate sophomores, juniors, or seniors who are studying for a degree in a STEM related field. Preference may be given to previous recipients who maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA.
