AP Credit Policy
College credits are traditionally earned through attendance in scheduled classes. However, some courses allow credit by examination. Credit by examination is listed as such on the transcript along with the course number, title, and hours of credit; however, no grade is assigned and the credit is not included in computing the Grade Point Average. Credit by examination is limited to 10 semester hours in a discipline and 30 semester hours in the university. A current list of tests available for credit by examination for courses offered at Georgia Regents University may be found on the Office of Admissions website.
For more information, view the credit policy on the college's website.
