From the Institution

Located in the city of Beloit, Wisconsin, along the scenic Rock River, Beloit College is a private, residential liberal arts college just 90 miles northwest of Chicago and within easy reach of Milwaukee and Madison. Our 47-acre campus is just two blocks from downtown Beloit, home to local shops, restaurants, and community events. Beloit's 1,000 students come from 44 U.S. states and 43 countries, forming a welcoming, engaged academic community where students are encouraged to explore, connect, and lead. At Beloit College, education goes beyond the classroom. Students explore their passions, collaborate with mentors, and turn ideas into action through integrated learning. With small class sizes and dedicated faculty, Buccaneers gain critical skills in communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and adaptability - skills that employers and grad schools value. We're redefining what it means to be career-ready. Our Advanced Mentoring Program (AMP) pairs students with faculty mentors from day one, offering personalized guidance, specialized courses, and a tight-knit advisory group. Through AMP and our career-focused Schools - including Business, Health Sciences, Environment & Sustainability, Global & Public Service, and Media & the Arts - students align their academic interests with real-world opportunities. Internships and hands-on experiences are central to a Beloit education. Our Concierge Internship Program connects students with paid, for-credit positions at internationally recognized organizations in fields like hospitality, economic development, and sports management - preparing them for life after graduation. Campus life is vibrant and welcoming. With 40+ student-run clubs and organizations, 21 NCAA Division III athletic teams, a growing esports team, and new programs including flag football and men's and women's ice hockey, students find countless ways to get involved and show their Buccaneer spirit. We're investing in the student experience - renovating campus spaces like Morse Library, upgrading residence halls, and creating modern, welcoming environments designed to support collaboration and community. Buccaneers are curious, motivated, and ready to make the most of their college experience. At Beloit College, you'll graduate with the confidence, skills, and perspective to meet the moment - whatever path you choose next.
