From the Institution

Bridgewater State University, located between Providence and Boston, has the fourth-largest campus of the 29 institutions in the Massachusetts Public Higher Education System. The main campus is in Bridgewater, Mass., with off-campus sites in New Bedford, Attleboro, and Cape Cod. At BSU, you can receive a quality education at an affordable price. A value that anyone concerned about the cost of education must consider. The new Horace Mann Scholarship for out-of-state students makes attending college out-of-state at BSU comparable in cost to many of their in-state options. BSU is dedicated to student success. With intensive student-faculty engagement in the classroom - an average class size of 21 students - and targeted academic support, all students may excel. We have been recognized for closing achievement and opportunity gaps for students of low-income, Pell Grant-eligible families, students of color, and male students. We have also been named one of the best colleges in America by The Wall Street Journal.
