It's a co-ed, residential college of about 2,100 students. Carleton is located in Northfield, Minnesota, just 40 miles south of Minneapolis and St. Paul, and often cited among the best college towns in the country. Carleton is a collaborative community where students and professors work together. Carleton's small classes and top-ranked professors create a rigorous yet highly supportive academic environment.
