AP Credit Policy
Students who have taken the AP Exams may be excused from some courses and/or may receive credit. CCNY will award up to 32 credits for AP. With some exceptions, elective credit will be awarded for a score of 3. Specific course credit will be awarded for scores of 4 and 5 and, in some cases, 3. Students who have taken the AP Exams should have the scores sent to the CUNY Office of Admissions.
