As a multi-denominational, evangelical, coeducational Christian university and seminary, CIU offers more than classes and degrees. The university encourages students to pursue their passion, giving them space for personal growth, academic excellence through extracurricular activities, student organizations, and opportunities to study abroad. Program offerings are diverse and currently include 24 undergraduate majors and 40 graduate and seminary programs, as well as 5 professional certificates. Students may complete 45 of these undergraduate and graduate/seminary programs in the convenient online format, providing flexibility for working adults. Successful completion of a CIU degree enables graduates to pursue an array of fulfilling and exciting careers in Christian ministry, education, business, counseling, and human service in any context, including international and cross-cultural settings. More than 18,000 CIU alumni currently serve in 148 countries. Daily these alumni use their CIU learning experience to influence the world positively wherever their vocational calling takes them.
