AP Credit Policy
The University normally will grant credit for above-average scores on the Advanced Placement (AP) examination of The College Board. Test scores of 3 or better in any of several subject areas will receive college credit. CUC's code number for this test is 1140. Generally, students will earn 3 semester hours of credit for each exam on which they achieve a scaled score of 3 or above. There are some exceptions where students may earn more than 3 hours depending on their score. Please see the AP exams and hours awarded for each exam.
