AP Credit Policy

As mandated by DE HB116, Delaware State University has adopted and implemented a policy to grant undergraduate course credit to incoming students based on the following exam scores. Please note that a minimum required scores above 3 is needed as indicated to meet course requirements for programs or majors. If the minimum score is above 3 for a particular course alignment, students receiving a 3 on the exam will instead get free elective credit for that course. This mandate takes effect August 1, 2024. All students enrolling at Delaware State University beginning in the fall 2024 semester are eligible to take advantage of this AP Policy. Students currently enrolled at the University and haven't completed their general education requirements should petition their dean for approval.
