Located in Richmond, Indiana, Earlham College is home to a vibrant, diverse, and intellectually curious global community - some 23 percent of students identify as domestic minorities, while another 18 percent of students are international, representing more than 60 countries. Some 35 percent of students participate in Division III athletics. Earlham's 9:1 student-faculty ratio and small classes (average class size is 12) ensure that students and professors are on a first-name basis. Earlham was founded in 1847 by Quakers to foster education rooted in respect, integrity, peace, simplicity and community.
