From the Institution

Finger Lakes Community College is a State University of New York (SUNY) two-year higher education institution offering more than 60 degree and certificate programs. FLCC serves students at its 250-acre park-like main campus in Canandaigua, N.Y., with campus centers in Geneva, Newark and Victor; a Viticulture and Wine Center in Geneva; and two environmental conservation field stations. The College offers programs that are entirely online, and at least 50 percent online, providing flexibility to student course schedules. FLCC has joint admissions and transfer agreements with several four-year, public and private institutions. The College also offers short-term training in health care and advanced manufacturing as well as a robust concurrent enrollment that enables high school students in its service area to earn college credits. The college will launch a licensed practical nursing program in fall 2024 and an online viticulture certificate in spring 2025. FLCC is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The College is also home of the Community College Undergraduate Research Initiative (CCURI), which promotes the teaching of science through research nationwide. More than 6,000 community college students each year participate in research projects based on the CCURI model.
