If you successfully completed a College Board Advanced Placement (AP) examination, you can earn college credit from Frostburg State. The university grants college credit for AP examination scores of 3, 4, or 5. To secure credit, students must ask the College Board to send official AP examination score reports to the Registrar's Office. After enrolling, students must request that scores be evaluated, and if high enough for credit to be given. You will not receive a Frostburg State grade for the course in which you earned the AP credit, and AP credits will not be factored into your GPA.
