From the Institution

Kent State University at Trumbull brings the strength of Kent State University's eight-campus system to the heart of the Mahoning Valley. Located in Warren, just off Route 82, and within the township of Champion, the campus has the convenience and intimacy of a small private college, along with the resources and support of one of Ohio's largest public research universities. Students can choose one of 25 bachelor's, associate or certificate programs or begin coursework toward one of Kent State University's more than 280 undergraduate degree programs. KSU Trumbull, under the leadership of Kent State University's College of Applied & Technical Studies, offers degree programs that encourage service, prosperity and entrepreneurship in the Mahoning Valley. It is home to accredited registered nursing and veterinary technician degree programs, as well as Criminology & Justice Studies with a Peace Officers Training Academy concentration offered through Kent State Trumbull's Peace Officer Training Academy. To enrich the college experience, students are encouraged to participate in campus activities, cultural events, organizations, clubs or one of its athletic teams. With four buildings set on more than 300 acres, the campus is home to the historic Kent State Trumbull Theatre, a fitness center, the 3,000-foot Titan Disc Golf Course, a beautiful two-acre natural resource in Lake Anne, and a solar array that provides more than 65 percent of the campus' energy needs. Historical downtown Warren is just minutes away. Kent State University built the Regional Campuses to provide Northeast Ohioans with access to a Kent State University education at a fraction of the cost of larger residential public and private colleges. Kent State Trumbull annually awards more than $300,000 in scholarships and aid.
