AP Credit Policy
Kwantlen Polytechnic University considers all Advanced Placement (AP) courses for admission when combined with an approved high school graduation credential. Students must submit official final transcripts from both their high school and the College Board AP after completing all exams. AP exam scores are converted to equivalent percentages, with scores of 5, 4, 3, and 2 translating to 96%, 86%, 80%, and 70% respectively. Students who earn a score of 4 or higher may receive transfer credit or advanced standing based on established course equivalencies, which are reviewed annually by faculty and curriculum committees.
For more information, view the credit policy on the college's website.

Need Help Choosing a Major?
Keep in mind most colleges don’t require students to declare a major until the end of their sophomore year, and many students change majors at least once.
Note: College profiles are based primarily on information supplied by the colleges themselves through participation in College Board's BigFuture Profile Management higher education data collection portal, with some data provided via federal and state agencies. Costs, dates, policies, and programs are subject to change, so please confirm important facts with college admission personnel.
