AP Credit Policy

Advanced placement examinations such as AP, IB, EB, and CLEP may be used to establish maximum credit of 30 semester hours. In establishing credit for these examinations, attention will be given not only to the score but to the scholastic record of the student, any special merits of the examination paper, and perhaps a personal interview. Such credit will be granted in an area only if no college work in that area has been taken (enrolled in or attempted). No letter grades will be assigned to the credit earned by examination.
