AP Credit Policy
Academic credit toward graduation will be granted automatically to students who pass the College Board's Advanced Placement Examination with a score of 4 or 5. Credit for the grade of 3 will be awarded only on the recommendation of the department chairs concerned (except for English, which awards credit for the grade of 3). No credit will be awarded for a score less than 3. PharmD/Nursing requires a minimum score of a 4 or higher in all Math and Science coursework. If the student receives a 3, it may transfer in as Subject NE credit. Further inquiries concerning Advanced Placement should be directed to Academic Counseling at (516) 299-2746.
For more information, view the credit policy on the college's website.
