Maine Maritime Academy is a public, co-educational college located in the coastal town of Castine, Maine offering 18 degree programs in engineering, management, science and transportation. We prepare students to be navigation officers and engineers for any size vessel on any ocean; to manage the design, installation, and operation of shore-based utilities worldwide; to work in marine biology, oceanography, and coastal science careers; and to manage global logistics and business operations in international trade. Central to a Maine Maritime education in hands-on and real-world experience, resulting in an excellent job placement rate: more than 95% of our graduates are employed in their field within 90 days of graduation. The success of our alumni has resulted in a worldwide reputation for excellence and reliability in maritime, business, and scientific fields.
