Manhattanville is a private liberal arts institution with a School of Nursing & Health Sciences, School of Education and School of Arts & Sciences. The college serves approximately 1,300 undergraduate students and 850 graduate students from more than 34 countries and 36 states and territories, including Puerto Rico. Located 30 miles from New York City on a 100-acre suburban campus in the heart of Westchester County, NY. Manhattanville offers easy access to entertainment and business opportunities for its diverse student body. The university serves approximately 1,400 undergraduate students and 1,000 graduate students from more than 34 countries and 36 states and territories, including Puerto Rico. Founded in 1841, the college offers more than 75 undergraduate and graduate areas of study in the arts and sciences, education, nursing, health sciences, business, and creative writing, as well as continuing and executive education programs. Extracurricular offerings include student life clubs and NCAA Division III teams. Manhattanville students participate in over 30,000 hours of community service each year. Manhattanville University is honored to be recognized as a United States President's Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. School spirit is strong and thriving around athletics as our teams continuously compete in conference championships and beyond. U.S. News and World Report ranks Manhattanville #1 for the third year in a row top private, non-profit institution for Social Mobility, Regional Universities North.
