AP Credit Policy
In accordance with MnSCU policy (3.15), a minimum score of three is required to receive credit for the Advanced Placement (AP) examinations. AP exams will be granted the same number of credits as the course they replace. If MSUM does not have an equivalent course, free elective credit may be awarded. Credit earned through AP is not residence credit and may not be used to satisfy residence-credit requirements for graduation. AP credit may be used toward Liberal Arts and Sciences Curriculum requirements.
For more information, view the credit policy on the college's website.
