Morehead State University aspires to be the best public university in the South. MSU delivers strong and affordable education for friendly, ambitious students who thrive in a student-focused learning environment defined by small class sizes and faculty committed to teaching and student success. Our 15:1 student/faculty ratio allows for a more personalized educational experience. We offer one of five space science programs in the country and were the first institution in Kentucky to offer a complete degree online, the MBA. MSU is recognized by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching as an Institution of Community Engagement. Our undergraduate fellowship program offers students the chance to work with faculty members on research projects as early as their freshman year. Campus features include Eagle Lake, a 30-acre body of water with hiking trails; and our Student Recreation & Wellness Center features a rope course, fitness areas, swimming pool, sun deck and more.
