AP Credit Policy
Students who have completed a university-preparatory program may be eligible to receive first-year transfer credits toward their degree at Mount Allison University. For students in Advanced Placement (AP) program, up to 30 transfer credit may be awarded for subjects completed with a score of 4 or 5. To have AP credits assessed, students must arrange for an official transcript to be sent directly from the AP College Board to Mount Allison through the online portal. Once official transcripts are received, typically in early summer, the university will automatically complete a transfer credit assessment. Students are only required to submit source descriptions if specifically requested by the transfer credit coordinator. Mount Allison also provides a list of AP courses that have previously transferred to give students an idea of the credits they may receive.
For more information, view the credit policy on the college's website.

Need Help Choosing a Major?
Keep in mind most colleges don’t require students to declare a major until the end of their sophomore year, and many students change majors at least once.
Note: College profiles are based primarily on information supplied by the colleges themselves through participation in College Board's BigFuture Profile Management higher education data collection portal, with some data provided via federal and state agencies. Costs, dates, policies, and programs are subject to change, so please confirm important facts with college admission personnel.
