AP Credit Policy
Undergraduate students may receive up to six credits in addition to transfer credits toward the Bachelor's degree through the Advanced Placement (AP), provided they do not take courses covering the same material. NEC accepts AP scores of 4-5 to transfer in as general education or elective credit and awards 2 credits per qualifying exam. AP Music Theory will not be accepted for transfer credit.
