AP Credit Policy
Credit may be granted for Advanced Placement Exams (AP) taken in high school. Grades of 3, 4 and 5 are required for possible credit. An official score report from the College Board (NYIT's college code is 2561) should be sent to NYIT. For the combined health professions programs in Physical Therapy or Physician Assistant Studies, as well as the Nursing program, grades of 4 or 5 are required for possible credit for courses identified as prerequisites. Credit is not awarded towards the combined Bachelor of Science/Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine program.
