AP Credit Policy
North Country Community College recognizes Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), and College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) programs and awards credit-based relevancy to NCCC courses and programs. Academic department faculty approve the following exams as signifying credit for the equivalent courses listed below. These are subject to change without notice. The Advanced Placement (AP) exams are rigorous, multiple-component tests that are administered at high schools. High school students can earn college credit and placement for qualifying AP exam scores. AP exam scores are reported on a scale of 1 to 5, with a minimum score of 3 required to earn college credit.
