AP Credit Policy
Queen's University may grant transfer credits to students based on their previous coursework, curriculum, grades, intended program at Queen's, and year of entry. Students entering first year who want transfer credit for high school courses, including AP exams, must submit their request and supporting documents by the end of the fall term of their first year; otherwise, they are considered to have declined the credit. Queen's can award up to 18 credit units for AP exams with scores of 4 or higher, though some AP courses are not eligible for credit regardless of score. Students must send official AP Grade Report directly from the College Board using Queen's institution code 0949. The university also applies "exclusion" rules, meaning students cannot receive credit for multiple courses that are considered too similar in content.
For more information, view the credit policy on the college's website.

Need Help Choosing a Major?
Keep in mind most colleges don’t require students to declare a major until the end of their sophomore year, and many students change majors at least once.
Note: College profiles are based primarily on information supplied by the colleges themselves through participation in College Board's BigFuture Profile Management higher education data collection portal, with some data provided via federal and state agencies.
