RMC enrolls approximately 1,500 undergraduate and graduate students, who pursue their academic paths in 50+ areas of study, including majors, minors, pre-professional programs, and other areas. RMC's wide-ranging liberal arts and sciences curriculum is rich in hands-on learning experiences like internships and study abroad, preparing students for the real world with its focus on effective communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking across the disciplines. Faculty mentors and advisors are part of a campus-wide network that's focused on student success. Dedicated staff in the Edge Career Center, in concert with faculty, work with students to develop personalized pathways to careers or graduate school. This robust web of support and mentorship lets the college offer a Four-Year-Degree Guarantee, which ensures that students graduate in four years, or finish any remaining courses free of charge. The mission of Randolph-Macon College - to develop the mind and the character of its students - underlies the college's ultimate purpose: to prepare its students for successful lives. And succeed they do. Alumni have a proud history of expressing their gratitude by giving back to RMC so that new students of all financial backgrounds can afford a Randolph-Macon experience. As a result, the college offers numerous financial aid options to students, including generous scholarships that reach 99% of students. RMC's proud athletic tradition, as members of the NCAA Division III and Old Dominion Athletic Conference, supports sponsors 9 men's and 9 women's intercollegiate sports, as well as coed club sports such as an Equestrian Team and Dance/Cheer Team. Many teams are nationally ranked and regularly compete for division and even national championships, including a Men's Basketball National Championship win in 2022. True to its traditions of sociability and public service, the college maintains a healthy Greek Life system and provides dozens of student service-minded Greek organizations from which to choose.
