AP Credit Policy
Saint Anselm College participates in the Advanced Placement Program of the College Entrance Examination Board. Students who receive a score of 5 in the Advanced Placement Examinations may receive credit for college coursework and in some cases a score of 4. A student's selection of major may also affect the acceptance of AP credit, as AP coursework may not be an appropriate substitution for an introductory course in the major. Initial transfer credit for new first year students is typically limited to 2 courses (8 credits). Remaining credit could be considered for transfer as needed by the student unless the student explicitly intends to graduate in less than 8 semesters.
For more information, view the credit policy on the college's website.
