From the Institution

Located in Morristown, NJ, about an hour train ride away from New York City and 1.5 hours from Philadelphia, Saint Elizabeth University (SEU) is a community of learning in the Catholic liberal arts tradition for students of diverse ages, backgrounds and cultures focused on engaged learning for leadership in service to others. Preparing responsible leaders for meaningful socially responsible lives in a changing world has been SEU's hallmark since it was founded more than 122 years ago by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth. Fully co-educational since 2016, SEU offers flexible academic offerings coupled with individualized attention that includes a 11:1 student to faculty ratio. With 98 percent of traditional undergraduates receiving some form of financial aid, the University provides multiple opportunities through SEU or private scholarships, or state or federal funding. Outstanding students are encouraged to further excel through SEU Promise, a rigorous four-year program that provides assistance with a six-month paid internship to those not employed or in graduate school within six months of graduation. In addition, SEU's proximity to New York City and Philadelphia links students with internship and networking opportunities. SEU is test optional and offers 12 NCAA Division III sports teams. Along with its traditional four-year undergraduate program, SEU offers a variety of evening and online continuing studies, graduate, as well as professional certificate programs. Largest undergraduate majors include nursing, criminal justice, biology, psychology and business administration. Largest graduate programs include counseling psychology, educational leadership, physician assistant, foods and nutrition and nursing.
