AP Credit Policy
Students who earn scores of 3, 4, or 5 on Advanced Placement (AP) Examinations can earn credit toward San José City College (SJCC) AA/AS degree general education, CSU GE-Breadth and IGETC. Duplicate credit will not be granted to students who have AP scores and take the equivalent college course at SJCC. GE credits and units granted at SJCC may differ from course credit and units granted by a transfer institution. To determine how AP credits will be used at the four-year school for major preparation, please consult the catalog of the transfer school or see a SJCC counselor.
For more information, view the credit policy on the college's website.
