From the Institution
As an institution in the state college sector of the University System of Georgia (USG), South Georgia State College (SGSC) is primarily an associate degree-granting access college with three academic programs at that level (A. A., A. S., and A. S. in Nursing) comprised of 19 transfer pathways and the A. S. in Nursing career program. SGSC also offers 8 bachelor's degree programs that meet economic growth and employment needs of south-central Georgia. Four of the bachelor's degree programs are new enough to not yet have any graduates, and one of those programs has enrolled its first cohort of students for the fall semester 2021.
