Founded in 1835, SUNY Brockport is a selective comprehensive liberal arts college with a wealth of academic programs and co-curricular activities, providing opportunities for students to pursue their talents and explore their intellectual, creative and athletic potential. Our academic offerings include 50+ undergraduate majors and 50+ graduate programs, post-masters and advanced certificate programs, teacher certification in 30+ areas, combined bachelors/masters programs and a Doctor of Nursing Practice. The College holds accreditations from 14 recognized accrediting bodies for programs including alcohol and drug addiction, athletic training, business administration and economics, chemistry, computer science, counseling education, dance, nursing, public administration, recreation and leisure studies (BS program), social work, teacher education, and theatre. From our rigorous programs in the sciences and mathematics to innovative coursework in kinesiology and a world-renowned dance program, Brockport students receive a liberal arts education that is supported through top-notch faculty and modern facilities. Students have the opportunity to study abroad through one of the largest programs in the nation, complete internships with major corporations, work with faculty on research and scholarly activities, live in a living and learning community with others that share their interests, and participate in our Leadership Development Program and service-learning activities. There are more than 100 student clubs and organizations, 20+ NCAA intercollegiate athletic teams, intramural and club sports, arts and cultural events, and access to the nearby cities of Buffalo and Rochester, NY, as well as Niagara Falls and Toronto, Canada.
