AP Credit Policy
High school students earning a score of three or higher on any College Board Advanced Placement (AP) Examination will gain academic credit applicable to the Potsdam baccalaureate degree. Students may earn between three and eight semester hours of college credit for a single AP examination. AP credits may be applied toward satisfaction of specific General Education requirements. They may also be used as equivalent courses or for placement within departmental major and minor programs.
