Touro University in New York is part of the Touro University System (TCUS), America's largest not-for-proft independent institution of higher and professional education under Jewish auspices. Touro provides diverse, innovative and engaging course offerings in a range of felds - from medicine, dentistry and pharmacy to law, business, education, social work and a variety of health science programs including nursing, physical and occupational therapy, speech language pathology and physician assistant. Touro students hail from diverse backgrounds and cultures and their Touro experience is highlighted by close faculty-student relationships, camaraderie and individual attention, all designed to promote student success. Touro has become one of the largest healthcare educational systems in the country. Starting with its School of Health Sciences in New York, Touro has grown from coast to coast to encompass fve medical schools, two colleges of pharmacy and a recently_launched college of dental medicine. Other strong programs of graduate and professional education are offered at the Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center as well as at the graduate schools of social work, business, technology, education and Jewish studies.
