AP Credit Policy
An applicant for freshman standing who achieves a grade of 3, 4, or 5 on the College Entrance Examination Board's Advanced Placement (AP) Examination may be granted credit. A 4 is required for Calculus credit for most majors in the School of Engineering. Design Engineering Technology requires a 3. Results of the examination should be sent to the Office of the Registrar. Students who score 5 on an exam should contact the appropriate department chair for consideration of additional credit.
