Known for driving excellence into action, the University of North Carolina Wilmington is dedicated to the integration of teaching, mentoring, research and service and offers a powerful academic experience to stimulate creative inquiry and critical thinking and a community rich in diversity, inclusion and global perspectives. UNCW offers a full range of baccalaureate- and graduate-level programs; doctoral degrees in applied coastal and ocean sciences, educational leadership, marine biology, nursing practice, psychology and pharmaceutical chemistry; and many distance learning options, including an accelerated RN-to-BSN program and an Executive MBA. The fields of education, nursing and public health continue to rely on the skills of UNCW graduates, fueling the economic engine of southeastern North Carolina.
