AP Credit Policy
Virginia Western Community College participates in the nationally recognized Advanced Placement Program. Many area high schools offer Advanced Placement courses to their students, giving them the opportunity to complete college level work while attending high school. Official Advanced Placement scores must be forwarded to the VWCC Records Office for approval. A minimum score of 3 or 4 (depending on the AP course taken) is required for credit at Virginia Western Community College.
