Westminster University celebrates diversity of thought and challenges students to see the world through the eyes of others. It is a place for expanding your worldview and innovating for the future. Each Westminster student is assigned a support team to guide them through every aspect of college. Students are mentored through internships, research opportunities, or clinical and teaching experiences that connect their academic programs to their goals and prepare them for a successful career and life. Wellness is front and center as all Westminster students gain knowledge and skills for living well, from basic physical and mental needs to advanced wellness practices that include eating and nutrition, self-awareness and emotional intelligence, financial health, and spiritual understanding or practice. Westminster offers a student-focused learning environment in a location that is recognized as a quality-of-life hotspot. Westminster takes full advantage of Salt Lake's prime location with our approach focused on impact and reflection. Students learn in and from wilderness and urban or corporate places with immersive interdisciplinary field programs and outdoor and expedition experiences. Students can choose from 38 undergraduate majors or design their own degree-customized to their interests and goals. Westminster has more than 45 academic areas of study and 12 graduate degrees. Some popular programs include Honors College, the McNair Scholars program, and May Term Study Experiences. With a total enrollment of approximately 1,200 students, everyone finds a niche to engage in campus life. Students at Westminster gain an understanding and practice of equity, comprehensive wellness leading to an integrated life, and leadership that prepares them to act ethically and effectively, consistent with their emergent values and beliefs.
