AP Credit Policy
Students who have earned an AP score of 4 or 5 will be granted one unit of credit for each subject area upon enrollment at Kalamazoo College. AP credits will apply toward graduation but may not be used to satisfy the seminar requirements. AP credits may be used to satisfy major, minor, or concentration requirements at the discretion of departmental faculty. An AP score of 3 may be used to waive a prerequisite or of advanced placement at the discretion of departmental faculty, but college credit will not be granted.
