Established in 1867, King is a Presbyterian-affiliated, doctoral-level comprehensive university serving the Southeast and beyond. Incoming students experience a curriculum that broadens their understanding of the word and its place in it. The curriculum also helps students examine career options and begin working toward a degree in their chosen fields. A variety of extracurricular activities are available to King University students year-round. Student clubs and intercollegiate/intramural sports are available, and King University is a NCAA Division II and a Conference Carolinas member with 25 varsity sports.
