Marymount University, founded in 1950, is an independent, co-educational Catholic university. Its 21-acre main campus is located in Arlington, VA, six miles from Washington, D.C. The University draws upon the resources of the nation's capital to provide unique learning experiences that enhance personal and professional growth. The close-knit academic community, with small classes and faculty-mentors who take a personal interest in student success, provides a culture of engagement that fosters intellectual curiosity, service to others, and a global perspective. Marymount offers undergraduate, graduate, and certificate programs through three colleges: College of Business, Innovation, Leadership, and Technology; College of Health and Education; and College of Sciences and Humanities.
