Marymount University, founded in 1950, is an independent, co-educational Catholic university. Its 21-acre main campus is located in Arlington, VA, six miles from Washington, D.C. The close-knit academic community, with small classes and faculty-mentors who take a personal interest in student success, provides a culture of engagement that fosters intellectual curiosity, service to others, and a global perspective. Marymount offers undergraduate, graduate, and certificate programs through three colleges: College of Business, Innovation, Leadership, and Technology; College of Health and Education; and College of Sciences and Humanities.
